Loans to businesses account for nearly 40% of the bank's portfolio; real estate mortgages are more than a third. Independent Bank offers title insurance through subsidiary Independent Title Services, and investments from agreement with third-party provider PrimeVest. The company also owns Mepco Finance, which acquires and services payment plans for extended automobile warranties.
